  • When do you run your classes?
    We offer a range of classes around Solihull, please look at the list of classes online.
  • What are the tuition fees for your dance classes?
    It is a subscription of £34 a month along with a one-off registration fee of £54 what includes DanceBugs logo kit of leggings, t-shirt & hooded jumper Our parent and toddler classes are booked termly in advance for £4.50 per session; there is no registration fee for our parent and toddler classes.
  • Are there any additional fees for costumes, exams, or performances?
    Should your child be involved in our dance shows they may have additional fees on costumes.
  • What types of dance classes do you offer?
    We offer a wide variety of dance classes, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, Acro, freestyle and more. We have classes for all age groups and skill levels.
  • How do I enrol my child in your dance classes?
    To enrol your child, you can visit our website book online.
  • Do you offer trial classes for new students?
    Yes, we offer a free trial classes so that new students can get a feel for our classes before committing. You can book your free trial online.
  • What is the dress code for dance classes?
    Children should wear their DanceBugs uniform. Before it arrives, they should wear comfortable sports clothing.
  • Are parents allowed to observe dance classes?
    For the benefit of our students and to minimize distractions, parents are not allowed inside the classroom during regular class times. However, we do schedule observation days and performances where parents can watch their children in action. You may stay with your child during their free taster session.
  • Can my child participate in performances or recitals?
    Yes, we organize regular performances and recitals to showcase the progress and talents of our students. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • What are your safety measures for students?
    We take the safety of our students seriously. Our instructors are trained in safety protocols, they are first aid trained and we have first-aid kits and emergency plans in place. The studio is designed with safety in mind, and parents can rest assured that their children are in a secure environment.
  • Do you offer adult dance classes?
    No, unfortunately we do not
  • At what age can children start taking dance classes?
    We offer classes from the ages of 2 all the way up to 12 years.
  • Do you have experienced teachers for different dance styles?
    All are teachers have a wide range of dance styles from ballet, freestyle, Acro, Street dance and many more. They have a year of experience working with all types of styles.
  • How do you group students by skill level?
    It will be structures beginner intermediate and advanced.
  • Do I need to purchase specific dance shoes?
    No, it will consist of bare feet or trainers
  • What is your policy for class cancellations and refunds?
    If you wish to cancel your dance classes you must give one months notice in writing to info@thebugsrgoup.com. Our policy on refunds can be found on the following link: https://www.thebugsgroup.com/terms-conditions/
  • "How often do students have the chance to showcase their skills?"
    Every 12 weeks the children get to showcase their skill as well as certificates and a Rosettes for the dancer of the term.
